About Vito
I briefly mentioned Vito during the review of Sophia’s performance in Paris late Tuesday, so I have to come back and say a little bit more about this band and give you links to hear some of their music.
Vito is a group of five men from Cardiff. Five musicians who think about themselves as a unit operating together, as we usually say: a collective. The music of Vito can be called progressive rock, post rock, avant rock… something like that, and is very much inspired by bands like Sigur Ros, Mogwai or Godsped You! Black Emperor.
Vito is on tour now in Europe until the end of May supporting Sophia and promoting their debut album entitled Make Good Areas Disturbed (March 2006, The Flower Shop Recordings).
