New solo project for the leader of Sonic Youth, Trees Outside the Academy is the first solo record from Thurston Moore since Psychic Hearts published in 1995.
12 “pop” songs with the help of Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth), J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr.), Samara Lubelski, Christina Carter (Charalambides), John Moloney (Sunburned Hand of the Man), Andrew MacGregor and Leslie Keffer.
Trees Outside the Academy will be out September 18.
