It Was Forty Years ago Today
I know, it’s the talk of the day… but I can’t resist. The Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band from The Beatles was the first record that somebody gave to me as a present, and my life changed. It was in June 1967, I was quite young… it was the mono pressing: ref. Parlophone E.M.I. Records - Long Play 33 r.p.m. PMC 1027 Mono. Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.
I keep it like a diamond.
