Nada Surf - Five Is The Lucky Number
With Lucky, it’s the second time only that Nada Surf reaches my CD player. The first time was with The Proximity Effect (Elektra, 1998); the song 80 Windows attracted me enough to buy the album. It was a great tune. Sorry to say but the other “pop-songs” didn’t give me the same effect so I never came back to Nada Surf. Meanwhile, the band followed his way with confidence and I heard that the last albums were more than just conventional hit songs for young fans.
